Full Job Description

As a Service Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for a range of clinical specialities across the service. Alongside the management team, you
will be responsible for managing and developing services delivered across the Directorate.

If successful you will be operationally responsible for the day to day running of the service, and will be required to monitor national performance targets specific to ensure they are achieved, and ensure corrective action is taken when necessary.

You will also get to work closely with colleagues in Primary Care, Community and East of England Ambulance Service to ensure that pathways are optimised for both referral in and discharge out.

As our Service Delivery Lead, you will:

  • Continue to improve waiting times and establish effective monitoring systems, taking corrective action in conjunction with clinical staff.

  • Assist in reviewing demand and capacity planning on a regular basis, ensuring compliance with local and national targets and

  • continuous improvement.
  • In conjunction with Clinical Lead ensure that medical staff rotas are adequate and take corrective action when

  • Ensure that rotas are planned in advance and take into consideration current vacancy/recruitment status.

  • Actively engage in and lead 'Communication Cells' and use them as a catalyst to promote a culture of continuous quality improvement.
