Full Job Description
Our floating support services are designed to support vulnerable people, preventing homelessness, and enabling them to thrive in their communities. As part of our continued commitment to delivering outstanding care, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Service Lead to join our Telford & Wrekin team.
As the Service Lead, you will oversee the delivery of floating support services across Telford & Wrekin for individuals aged 16-54 and 55+, ensuring that contractual, regulatory, and safeguarding standards are met. This is a vital role in leading and developing a dedicated team, driving positive outcomes for clients, and maintaining strong partnerships with local authorities and other stakeholders., + Lead the delivery of high-quality, person-centred floating support services, ensuring contractual compliance.
+ Manage and develop a team of lead workers, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
+ Maintain strategic oversight of service delivery, producing high-level reports, and representing the organisation at external meetings.
+ Ensure financial oversight of the service, managing budgets and monitoring income streams.
+ Embed trauma-informed and strength-based approaches to help customers achieve positive outcomes and maintain independent living.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with local authorities, housing providers, and health services.

You will be a motivated and experienced leader, capable of managing floating support services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable people. You'll bring excellent communication skills, financial experience, and a strong understanding of safeguarding protocols. Above all, you will have a passion for empowering individuals to achieve their potential., + Proven experience in leading housing-related or floating support services.
+ Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
+ Experience in managing budgets and ensuring financial compliance.
+ Commitment to trauma-informed, person-centred service delivery.
+ Excellent relationship-building skills with local authorities, housing providers, and other stakeholders.
+ A relevant qualification in social care, housing, or management is desirable but not essential.
