Service Leads - Commissioning

4th October 2024 for Service Leads - Live Well, Age Well, Contracting, Procurement, Quality & Care Navigation, These exciting Service lead roles will be an integral part of our senior commissioning leadership team working closely with our Head of Commissioning, Elizabeth Fleming, and developing integrated working arrangements with our commissioning colleagues in Lancashire & South Cumbria Integrated Care Board.

We have excellent collaborative working arrangements with staff across the broader Adults & Health and Children & Families teams and the wider Place-based Partnership.

These roles will be key in leading and delivering our Start Well', 'Live Well' and 'Age Well' commissioning aspirations and our strategic direction for Contracting, Procurement Quality & Care Navigation by:

- using a co-production approach to develop a strategic commissioning programme for Blackburn with Darwen across our 'Start Well' , 'Live Well' and 'Age Well' service areas.

- leading the vision, transformation, and strategic direction for Contracting, Procurement, Quality & Care Navigation.

- using a Programme Management approach to develop a Programme Plan which includes clear milestones, a system for tracking implementation, reporting risk and monitoring outcomes.

- working collaboratively with our stakeholders within the Place-based Partnership.

- managing staff and matrix working within the commissioning team including across the life-course elements and across strategic and operational functions.

- Have experience working as a commissioner, ideally within adult/children's social care, health and/ or VCFSE services.

- Compassionate leaders who can enthuse, inspire and deliver.

- Experienced at working alongside key stakeholders and those with lived experience to develop and deliver the services.

- Able to work with challenge and bring people along with you to achieve our aspirations for Blackburn with Darwen residents.
