Full Job Description

This role sits within our Youth Impact Domain, which works to provide immediate one-to-one and group support for children who urgently need support. Your role will be to help us maintain and develop innovative practice to support our work in our services around the country.

We are currently looking for an individual with significant experience of working within Advocacy and Independent Visitor service to lead our dynamic, ambitious team.

A key part of this role will be your ability to:

-To provide service leadership and management for the Cheshire Children's Right service as set out in contracts and service specifications, ensuring the delivery of high quality and a safe service.

-To supervise, empower and manage the performance of staff to deliver the best they can for young people referred to the Cheshire Children's Rights service

-To oversee budgets for the Cheshire Children's Rights service and complete financial and operational monitoring reports

-To maintain and develop effective working relationships with partner agencies in Cheshire to support the protection of young people from harm

-To work with partners, both operational and strategic, adopting a multi-disciplinary approach in response to children who require advocacy and an IV, Please note we're not responsible for the content of job ads, as they're posted by the recruiter. Working knowledge and understanding of legislation as it relates to Children's Rights, Children in Care, Care Leavers, Child in Need, and Complaint processes.

-Substantial experience of undertaking assessments of need and risk and planning interventions.

-Significant experience of multi-agency working.

-Experience of managing and supervising staff, students and volunteers. Including supervision and management processes.
