Full Job Description

In the context of developing our services to continue to meet the challenges of the current situation we are moving to Locality working with a clear emphasis on Strength Based working, including short and longer term work. You will have the opportunity to have training from Children and Adult directorates.     You will have several years' experience as an operational manager, have a track record of leading a team of frontline social workers managing a range of complex cases for young people. You will have extensive experience of managing staff, budgets and projects. You will be a leader who is confident in managing change, resolving conflict and developing the workforce whilst addressing any performance concerns.
  • We work with young people who have a wide range of additional needs and complex conditions. We challenge inequality and traditional responses to service delivery and ensure that we employ a strength-based approach to our work. The responsibilities will include joint working with Children's Services and SEN.
