Full Job Description
The post holder is accountable for the delivery of services with overall responsibility for line-management, clinical, operational, performance and financial management functions of the Refocus Community Forensic Service and Low Secure Inpatient Service at Park Royal. The post holder will lead on the partnership arrangement that CNWL has with the North London Forensic Collaborative in relation to the above services.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovativeSpecialist Forensic Services Manager (8B)to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing expert forensic mental health knowledge, managing risk, and leading our teams to deliver exceptional care.
§ Develop, monitor, and evaluate standards in line with CQC, NICE, NLFC, and QN Networks for Low Secure and Forensic Community Care.
§ Work collaboratively with the Head of Forensic Service Line /Service.
§Director to implement strategic direction at an operational level.
§ Provide sound advice and guidance to the Regional Operations.
§ Deliver effective leadership and direction to operational managers.
§ Foster strong partnerships with North London Forensic Collaborative (NLFC) and West London Mental Health Foundation NHS Trust (WLT).
§ Ensure cost-effective service delivery and robust financial management.
§ Lead efficient and equitable recruitment processes., To competently lead and manage change in the implementation of service developments and in response to CQC inspection reports or serious incidents e.g. unexpected patient deaths.
To provide demonstrable evidence that all services have CQC Provider Compliance Assessments in place and that evidence is stored on CNWL's electronic quality program.
To create a culture in which innovative ideas and strategies can flourish and provide vision and inspiration to enable staff to deliver care more effectively.
To identify and participate in the tendering for new business opportunities.
To provide demonstrable evidence that effective performance management and professional and clinical leadership of the workforce.
To provide demonstrable evidence that services meet care quality and performance management standards.
To represent the services and, if required, the Division and Trust at external meetings with stakeholders.
To work in partnership - cooperatively and constructively - with all external stakeholders and partners. Take a lead on partnerships relevant to the Services managed
To provide demonstrable evidence that both sites have an up-to-date risk register in place that is overseen by local clinical governance groups and reported to Offender Care's monthly Care Quality and Performance Management meeting.
To have responsibility and have demonstrable evidence that the interfaces for KCW Focus and Park Royal Low Service with other Divisions are maintained at Service Manager level
§ Registered Mental Health Nurse or Allied Health Professional with relevant specialist qualifications.
§ Significant experience in forensic mental health services.
§ Proven leadership and management skills.
§ Strong understanding of CQC, NICE, NLFC, and QN Networks standards.
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
§ Ability to manage complex situations and work under pressure.
This is a rare opportunity for a compassionate and inspirational leader to work within our Health & Justice Directorate as Service Manager for part of our forensic mental health service line, comprising of two low secure inpatient units and a community forensic team. We are looking for an exceptionally skilled & enthusiastic individual who is either a mental health nurse or allied health professional with significant forensic and managerial experience and a proven track history of successful change management. You must be passionate about working creatively with complex service users and their carers who are often at very difficult periods within their lives within a trauma informed care framework. The successful candidate will have everyday responsibility for line-management, clinical, operational, performance and financial management functions within the teams and additional accountability trough the North London Forensic Collaborative.
