Full Job Description

We are looking for a Service Manager to join the Tenancy Sustainment Team (TST).

Commissioned by the Mayor of London and supporting over 900 people who have previous experience of rough sleeping to maintain and move on from self-contained independent accommodation. The Thames Reach TST South plays a crucial role in supporting the effective operation of all pathways out of rough sleeping.

The team use a strength-based approach to work with people to identify their goals and how we can achieve them together. The Service Manager will work in partnership with a wide range of external and internal stakeholder to achieve positive results.

As a manager you will lead an established and innovative team to provide resettlement support, equipping people with the skills to manage their home, achieve their goals and move on from rough sleeping.

You will:

.Make a real difference to people rough sleeping in London by providing a welcoming and inspiring support service to people accessing tenancies after a period of rough sleeping.
.Lead a large team of up to 29 employees, including four managers, across fifteen London boroughs to support people to resettle successfully into tenancies and move on after a period of rough sleeping.
.Be an inspiring and present leader with demonstrable management skills and foster a culture of high performance, continually striving to improve the service.
.Work in partnership with a range of external partners, including, Registered Social Landlords, Clearing House, Greater London Authority, Local Authorities, health services.
.Produce excellent reports, records, evaluation and impact analyse to scrutinise and improve performance.

Extensive experience of managing a large team delivering a support or similar service.
.In depth experience of mitigating risk, ensuring work is delivered effectively and safely.
.Excellent experience of developing effective working relationships, with great people skills when dealing with stakeholders / partners.
.A belief in the mission that people can and will positively move on from homelessness by accessing and sustaining tenancies, build supportive relationships and lead fulfilling lives.
.Excellent organising, attention to detail and prioritising skills to be able to meet KPIs and work to budget.
.Creative problem-solving skills to ensure a high quality service is provided consistently., Disability Confident
