Full Job Description

A Compliance Professional ensures that an organisation adheres to regulatory requirements and internal policies. They assess and manage a company's risks by determining potential compliance issues and developing strategies to mitigate them.

The role of compliance Professional is crucial to ensure that business operations are executed within the security, business continuity and risk boundaries set by the business. Compliance Professionals conduct audits and risk assessments to identify and alleviate compliance-associated risks. They also review and report any non-compliance of laws or regulations to management.

What you'll be doing

You'll be developing, implementing and auditing compliance procedures to ensure the organisation's compliance with security, business continuity and risk regulations. You'll also conduct consistent risk assessments to recognise areas where the company might be vulnerable to non-compliance. This includes, but is not limited to the below activities:

  • Develop a framework to provide assurance that new products meet security, business continuity and risk management requirements

  • Work with multiple teams across the Consumer organisation to understand the risks associated with new products and services

  • Document those risks, assign owners and agree testing requirements

  • Agree and produce evidence to demonstrate compliance

  • Track progress monthly and produce an monthly report

  • Attend any review / forum that requires updates / assurance of compliance

    Thorough knowledge of the industry standards, laws and regulations.

  • Demonstrable experience in compliance and risk management.

  • Familiarity with developing and executing compliance management techniques.

  • Experience in conducting compliance audits and providing relevant strategies.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

  • Willingness to work in a team and lead them as required.

  • Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and requirements.

  • Relevant professional certifications like Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM).
