Full Job Description

  • Managing and processing purchase orders


  • Identifying parts, preparing quotes and orders in line with customer enquiries and agreed internal parts processes


  • Managing Engineers' parts requests and updating all relevant internal systems


  • Managing enquiries in line with internal and external customer SLA's


  • Building and enhancing relationships with both internal and external customers by using your natural ability to liaise effectively at all levels


  • Support service controller in daily planning activities ensuring a smooth an efficient flow of parts to engineers.


  • Usage of Company CRM system and customer portal systems


  • Monitor and control Service, resolving client technical/administrative queries and escalating/delegating where required


  • Carry out invoicing and job costing tasks


  • Ensuring paperwork is sent over to customers and records are kept up to date


  • Review and investigate customer complaints and escalate where required


  • Comply with the company health and safety policy


  • Observe & demonstrate behaviour in line with the core values of the company


  • Processing of warranty claims in a timely manner to ensure maximum recovery of costs


  • Provide support to parts sales during busy periods and absence

  • To assist with and keep WIP at a manageable level.


  • To assist with processing of jobs & invoices


  • Effective time management and allocation of resources.


  • Support the Service Controller with the effective and efficient planning of Field Service Engineers (including 3rd party Engineers).


  • Effectively manage customer enquiries.


  • Monitoring engineers documentation.


  • Ensure best practices are used when distributing field service engineer's jobs.

  • Ability to demonstrate positive customer service skills.


  • Ability to develop interpersonal and communication skills.


  • Ability to troubleshoot and put forward new ideas to improve processes within the department.
