Full Job Description

We are looking for a Service Solutions Architect to work in our Service Design & Delivery area of the EMEA Services function. You will be responsible for providing support to the Sales team, focussing primarily on opportunities for Managed and Support Service offerings by participating in customer calls and visits, providing information, and delivering presentations, as well as developing detailed and costed solution designs.   • This role we are offering is a Remote position, you will be expected to come into the office once a month as well as clients visits when needed as part of your responsibilities.
  • As a Service Solutions Architect your Responsibilities are:
  • Participate in the design of IT support services and managed services, demonstrating a high level of understanding with respect to client drivers, requirements, contractual agreements, service architecture and service management.
  • Translate client requirements and contractual obligations into a solution design that describes the scope of services and supporting service level agreements that adhere to processes and standards defined by Service Operations.
  • Work closely with the bid team or Sales team responsible for each opportunity, assist with the support service elements of the overall solution design to meet the needs and requirements of the Client.
  • Work closely with the Contracts Manager to ensure proposals meet contractual obligations.
  • Work closely with the services Operations team to ensure that proposed services, or changes to services, meet agreed pre-requisites enabling successful delivery to target service levels and performance indicators.
  • Support Project Managers to understand any service risks, dependencies and issues that exist and the impact that these may have on the project.
  • Work closely with service product owners, Engineering and Service Operations to understand and champion Insight support services and managed services, and provide input as required to those teams to assist with the development of new portfolio services.
  • To produce or update the client specific contractual agreement (statement of work) and support Sales or the SDM to gain sign-off from the client.

    Demonstrable experience in end-to-end managed/support service solution design.
  • Displays a competent knowledge relating to service management.
  • Can demonstrate and understanding of and ability to work alongside the Legal team in contract negotiations.
  • Customer-centric with ability to identify and understand the (internal and/or external) customer's needs and desired outcomes.
  • Creative problem-solving and analysis skills with an ability to identify, develop and implement solutions to gaps to meet the needs of the client.
  • Able to adapt to change at short notice and prioritise workloads accordingly.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with managers and senior members across the organisation, and external stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen in defining pricing models to meet the specific needs of the client whilst maintaining profitability for the business.
