Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Service Support Officer who is committed in providing efficient administration support for Legal Services.

The post holder will predominately provide a wide variety of administrative tasks and support with projects both within legal services and for partners in the wider Legal Services & Partnership Directorate within the Council, ensuring compliance with procedures and practices to support the delivery of an efficient service.

Experience of working in an office/administrative environment with a strong understanding of IT based systems, including Microsoft Office is essential. The successful candidate must have a 'can do' approach to the role and be committed to delivering an efficient and effective support service.

Attention to detail is a key skill as the work involved can be of a highly sensitive nature, the successful candidate must have a good understanding and appreciation of the need for confidentiality at all times. You will also act as the customer link for the requesting of and scheduling of services provided by the Team and therefore you will be required to engage confidently and courteously with customers, stakeholders, partners and Council members.

The successful applicant must have a minimum of an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification, skills and experience. Previous experience of working in legal practice manangement environment would be desirable., Disability Confident
