Full Job Description

Due to high growth and ongoing demand across the business, Emarsys is looking for a Services Consultant that will join the wider Professional Services team and ensure prospects and existing clients are matched with the appropriate professional services to fit their requirements. Working collaboratively with Emarsys' Sales, Client Success, Partner, Technical and Services delivery departments, you will act as the representative of the Professional Services organisation and partner network across EMEA with a focus on the DACH region, gathering and analysing client requirements and providing thoughtfully scoped services to ensure our customers and prospects meet and exceed their business targets. This client facing role will seamlessly combine marketing strategy, creative thinking, agency and technical services experience and commercial awareness to successfully agree with the prospect/client on services to be provided, whilst also contributing to post-sales activities to provide a world class experience. The main purpose of this function is to provide strategic and operational consultation to our prospective Professional Services and Technology customers, aligned to our Professional Services offering and will report directly into the Regional Strategic Services Director. The goal for this profile is to generate new Professional Services revenue for our EMEA/DACH region using thought leadership, experience and collaboration with wider teams.,

  • Present Emarsys & Partner Professional Services in the pre-sales phase, providing consultation on multiple aspects of strategy and technology adoption aligned to a customer's business goals, KPIs and vision with our platform. You will be expected to do this in the context of the EMEA market.
  • Develop customised presentations, business cases and demonstrations to prove the business value of Professional Services to the client.
  • Handover to and/or collaboration with services delivery teams and partners as well as our internal partner management team
  • Liaise with the commercial team to ensure up to date services knowledge and clear collaboration with on-going projects
  • Build collaborative relationship with the new and existing business teams to drive and progress Professional Services pipeline
  • Deliver strategic and operational discovery/consultancy workshops with long term roadmaps as an output to demonstrate platform and Professional Services value/ROI

    3+ years' experience in a commercial role (e.g. Pre-Sales/Services Sales Consultant, Digital Consultant, Account Manager, Client Success Manager) - within a SaaS or Digital Marketing Services Provider, ideally in a Marketing Tech capacity
  • Experience with well-known retail and consumer facing organisations/brands with high staff turnover and shifting targets
  • A basic understanding of CRM marketing in today's digital world
  • Demonstrated ability and gravitas to explain the value and function of professional services to marketing, creative, technical, and non-technical stakeholders alike (including c-level), blending genuine passion with assured competency
  • A track record of leading customer facing workshops/engagements as a mechanism to drive the sales process.
  • A good understanding of sales strategy and opportunity management
  • A preference for a fast-paced, agile working environment and strong team ethic, Experience with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications for Online Marketing, CRM, or Campaign Management
  • Sales exposure in a medium or large digital agency delivering a wide range of services
  • Knowledge of the online marketing space (specifically CRM marketing) is a definite advantage
  • Commercial utilisation of RFP's and RFI's
  • High level of initiative with the ability to work without supervision
