Sessional Care Tutor / Assessor - Care Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified and experienced sessional tutor and assessor who is sector experienced to teach and assess from E3 to Level 4/5 in Care qualifications. The work will include delivery of employability-based courses when required, supporting staff, and preparation of resources.

You must be both qualified and experienced in teaching Care on accredited courses and be a qualified teacher as well as an experienced and fully qualified assessor with independent assessing experience of learner practice in workplace against qualification standards.

You must be able to work independently, be flexible and able to attend induction sessions, team meetings and CALAT Staff and standardisation meetings, and be willing to work at different venues in Croydon, with some evening and Saturday work according to curriculum needs., We are currently experiencing a high demand for delivering training for the Care sector in Croydon. We are recruiting an experienced sessional tutor with experience in workplace assessing to work with us to support this expanding curriculum offer.

Starting band and point: Band 1 Point 6 to Point 7 dependant on qualifications and experience.

Hourly rate example - Band 1 Point 7 - £30.01 (teaching rate /contact rate ) £15.49 (non-teaching rate).

Full-time all year 52 weeks per year with holiday entitlement.

35 hrs per week.
