As a multi-site Alternative Provision for children and young people with complex needs, we provide a vital service to the families and schools of Hounslow. About the Role: Due to an increase in the number of medical students enrolled at WPES, we are looking for additional sessional tutors. You will be required to tutor students with medical conditions, either at home, or at a local library. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students facing health-related challenges, ensuring they have access to a suitable education in accordance with Section 19 of the Education Act 1996. We are looking for Tutors who:
- Possess the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Are committed to raising the achievement levels and self esteem of young people
- Are adaptable and flexible in meeting the diverse needs of students Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to teach across a range of subjects up to GCSE level and beyond, with a particular interest in candidates who can teach Maths or English. You will be able to:
- Provide an exciting and innovative curriculum tailored to individual student needs.
