Full Job Description

To lead and manage activities in relation to settlement metering on behalf of Asset Management and NGET.

Responsible for influencing internal and external stakeholders in the current and future settlement metering arrangements from a technical and commercial perspective

What you'll be doing

  • Contract Management and reporting: lead on Meter Operator Agent (MOA) obligations

  • Policy: to review codes, frameworks, and make-up of connection charges where appropriate

  • Technical:

  • + To provide detailed, expert technical and asset management knowledge in relation to settlement metering.
    + To undertake asset health aspects of our installed asset base, including asset replacement volumes and strategies
  • Stakeholder Management:

  • + Represent NGET on appropriate internal and external stakeholder working groups or committees, audits and data requests
    + Influence and manage key external stakeholder relationships
    + Internal communications with relevant teams to drive NGET outcomes
  • Team: Support and mentor other members of the team

    Proven ability to develop working relationships quickly and effectively, and communicate clearly and diplomatically

  • Excellent knowledge of ET Policies, Procedures, Technical Specifications, Work Specifications and

  • Technical Guidance Notes in area of expertise

  • Understanding of National Grid's regulatory regime

  • Understanding of Type Registration TP

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Asset Management System, including business drivers & planning

  • Strong understanding of asset management with a proven track record of developing processes which

  • support business risk, cost, performance decision making

  • Commercial and contractual acumen

    A competitive salary between £58.929 - £72,000 dependent on capability.
