Full Job Description
- Provide one-to-one and group support to students, offering a safe, confidential space.
- Collaborate with University teams, including Counselling and Mental Health Advice Services, to enhance student support.
- Work closely with external agencies to provide holistic support.

Candidates will be shortlisted based upon these criteria. The University supports hybrid working, aiming for a pattern of 3 days on-site and 2 remote. Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check (enhanced with children and adults' barred lists).
- Have significant experience in providing one-on-one support to adults who have experienced sexual violence or domestic abuse.
- Hold or be willing to work towards an Independent Sexual Violence Adviser (ISVA) or Independent Domestic Violence Adviser (IDVA) qualification.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the impact and dynamics of sexual violence, with strong risk assessment skills and knowledge of relevant UK legislation.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build trust and credibility with students and staff.
- Show emotional resilience, clear boundaries, and an ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Have a strong interest in working with students in Higher Education.
