Full Job Description

We are currently in the process of building a Transactional Finance team here in the UK, bringing a shared service model back on shore. We currently have multiple opportunities available within this space. As part of this process, we currently have an opportunity to join our Finance team as a Shared Service Team Leader on a 2 year fixed term contract. As the Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing and assisting with all Transactional Finance duties, including AP/AR and expense processing. You will manage a team of 3 as well as ensuring that all payments are made and received on time. This is a hybrid role working a minimum of two days per week from our site in St Katherine's Dock, London. Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Oversee and manage the activity of the AP and AR team
  • Processing high volume of supplier invoices
  • Distribution of invoices to Customers
  • Managing customers both externally and internally
  • Matching invoices and purchase/sales orders
  • Processing bulk invoices
  • Monthly supplier/customer statement reconciliations
  • Entering data into Oracle
  • Other ad-hoc administrative and finance duties when required

    Experience of managing an Accounts Payable and Receivable team
  • Ability to produce detailed & accurate information
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Sound working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong analytical skills
