Duties

We have an opportunity for a Shift Desk Coordinator at Cadishead.

You will coordinate all materials inbound and outbound from gate entrance through to exit, including weighbridge duties, driver inductions and all inbound and outbound safety documents. Ensuring safe procedures are followed from the front line.

SAP knowledge to be used for managing the stock counts, amendments, write offs/ons and reporting into management and accounts.

Raising the site's indirect/direct purchase orders.

You will be the link between all departments to help with the safe and efficient operational success of the site.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

-First Line security - Letting all vehicles onto site via the front gate using the intercom system.

-Authorisation to Discharge Forms - First line safety checks for ullage, correct UNs, correct quantities etc before handing to Shift Manager to carry out secondary checks.

-Authorisation to Load Forms - First line safety checks for ullage, correct UNs, correct quantities etc before handing to Shift Manager to carry out secondary checks.

-All site Operational work documentation now needs 1st, 2nd and 3rd checks, this is a safety process created by site and the EHS department. The Shift Desk Controllers are the 1st controllers of this and create the forms alongside entering the first line information, using the relative densities of products and taking temperatures of products to formulate the correct amount of material required ie if loading road barrels they would figure out the SGs.

-Emergency Roll Callers - All Shift Desk Controllers must be emergency roll call trained to carry out roll calls on the driver books, visitor books and site books.

-Dangerous Goods Trained - Shift Desk Controllers should be DGN trained for movements of dangerous materials.

-SCADA - Shift Desk Controller can open, close tanks on the SCADA system, load up production orders and do general tasks on the SCADA system to cover the Shift Manager.

-Radio - Shift Admin cover the shift managers on the radio, if someone is asking for a tank to be opened or raising an incident the Shift Desk Controller would action this.

-Weighbridge Controllers - Shift Desk Controller are the function that control all vehicles going onto the weighbridge. They speak to the drivers via the radio and instruct them what to do, they then use the weighbridge computer to produce the weight tickets.

-Booking in - Shift Desk Controller take calls in the absence of Shift Manager to book vehicles into site using the ACCESS system.

-SAP - All production orders, sales orders and incoming vehicles are booked onto SAP by the shift Desk Controller

-HMRC Document processing

-BOMs - Routing set ups / queries / deletions

-Manage trailers - Any queries / make sure underweight and correct documents provided.

-Driver Inductions - All new drivers are inducted by the shift desk team.

-Weekly audits of ATD and ATL forms to make sure all operators are filling out the safety forms correctly.

-Sevesso report management

We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organisation skills and be numerically accurate and competent, with strong IT skills - mainly Excel, Outlook, Word together with a Dangerous Good Note Qualification and Emergency Roll Call Training. SAP knowledge is desirable.
