Full Job Description
- Testing a variety of petroleum products to ASTM and IP test methods
- Preparing and testing sample blends as requested by customers
- To prepare and test quality control samples, to standardise reagents and solutions and calibrate equipment as needed for the testing process
- Verifying samples to specifications and communicating results obtained
- Make appropriate entries in the required records and systems
- Generate reports for release to customers
- Receive and log in samples for testing on the required systems

- Good IT literacy skills
- Knowledge of chemistry, with A-level qualifications or above and preferable experience in analytical instrumentation

You will be required to analyse and release petroleum products. This is a shift position and will require you to work on a shift rota which includes 7am to 7pm for two days, then 7pm to 7am for two days, then 4 days off.
