Full Job Description

To effectively and efficiently run the Re-use shop based on Worthing HWRS. Decrease the number of items leaving the site as waste, and putting them for Re-use.

Days of work.

Friday to Tuesday (i.e. Wednesday and Thursday off)

HWRS Summer - 8.45am to 6.15pm
HWRS Winter - 8.45am to 4.15pm
(closed Thurs)

  • You will be using your creativity to arrange the shop to make it a welcoming environment that sets out the items on display in the best way possible. Every day will be different, with new items arriving on site.

  • Working with the Supervisor and Site Operatives on site to source good quality items that members of the public (MOP) no longer want and the MOP is happy for the item/s to go to the shop.

  • You need to have a clear understanding of what sells, excellent customer service and creativity to ensure the shop area is fully made use of maximising sales.

  • You will need the ability to lift items in and out of the shop and on shelves.

  • At all times adhering to Company policies and procedures including H&S, environmental and operational requirements.

    Customer service skills - ability and willingness to assist members of the public and other site users.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

  • Ability to work to own initiative
