Full Job Description

This role is pivotal in translating the brand and channel strategy into the in-store and online 'Look of Success' (LOS) for both temporary and permanent activations. You will lead the development of a toolkit that enables the CD retailer execution (shopper marketing) team to deliver the LOS through their shopper marketing campaigns, while also owning the demand drivers process for shopper activities. Ensuring that shopper marketing campaigns are seamlessly integrated with the full media and other strategic plans is essential to achieving the intended impact and meeting brand strategy and annual goals.
Collaboration with our customer account and execution teams is crucial to leverage our shopper marketing investment in the retailer Joint Business Plans (JBP's).
To excel in this role, you need a deep understanding of the UK retail landscape and the ability to ensure Unilever's brands are visible and impactful at key touchpoints in the shopper journey. A passion for the beauty industry is also essential.
Strong communication, team-building, and project management skills are a must, along with robust analytical capabilities and organizational skills to succeed in this key role.
Main responsibilities
Translate the brand & channel strategy into the instore & online 'Look of Success' (LOS) for temporary and permanent activations, ensuring alignment with brand teams.
Creation of shopper campaign blueprints and ensure differentiated options for deployment by Retailer Execution in line with retailer requirements.
Define customer prioritisation, associated budget (BMI) for brand, retailer differentiated campaigns in alignment with Retailer Execution team
Agree with Retail Execution team BMI allocation for Retailer Partnership activities.
Owner of overall shopper marketing budget inc. retail media & providing updates at beauty leadership team meetings.
Owner of shopper marketing demand driver process, working closely with Customer, Strategy & Planning exec.
Ensure artwork is ready for deployment in line with retailer media timelines and assets meet Unmissable POS standards
Ownership of Shopper Input into end-to-end Annual Planning process including any requirements for Customer sell in.
Provide clear timely briefs to Retailer Execution (shopper marketing) team to enable in-market execution on time in full and leadership required across Retailer Execution Managers to deliver plan.

A good strategic thinker with business & financial acumen and ability to partner with colleagues across all levels of the organisation
Experience in Account Management (useful), Shopper Marketing & Project Management
An expert in Shopper Behaviour, Missions & Mindsets
A good understanding of Category strategy and levers
A strong understanding of UK retailer landscape
Influencing & people management skills with the ability to engage / motivate colleagues & stakeholders behind a project or POV
Proficiency in briefing and providing direction to Design & BTL agencies to develop creative concept ideas
Strong organisational skills
Budget management & experience
