Full Job Description
- Manage signalling design team (experience required includes but not limited to Locations, REBs, Scheme Plans, relay wires, level crossings etc.).
- Support delivery of Life Extension and Renewals projects.
- Oversee the preparation of technical details, specifications and tenders for Signalling projects
- Ensure technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of Signalling design work as instructed
- Discharge safety responsibilities in relation to CDM Regulations, Health and Safety legislation, company procedures and standards
- Perform duties as directed by the Lead Design Manager / Head of Design in connection with Signalling Design activities
- Hold a IRSE Design Manager licence (essential)
Experience in railway Signalling design (essential) - Prior experience as a Signalling Design CRE (desirable)
- Ability to also manage a small telecoms teams and associated design work being delivered, with prior telecoms experience on S&T projects (desirable)
