Full Job Description
Are you an experienced nurse looking to take the next step in your career? As a band 6 nurse within the community inpatient team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high quality patient centred care, whilst leading and supporting your team. You will be required to use your clinical expertise to ensure patient safety and contribute to our service's continuous improvement. You will work as a charge nurse alongside our wider multidisciplinary team, collaborating to empower our patients and their families. Thus, promoting a culture of inclusivity and positivity. Jubilee Ward is a 16 bedded rehabilitation unit in Slough, the ward provides discharge to assess, medical optimisation, sub-acute medical and rehabilitation care to patients across the East of Berkshire. You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of Doctors, ANPs, Therapists, Pharmacists and support workers to provide high quality care to patients on our ward
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent team leadership skills and be committed to evidence-based practice. Collaboration with members of our multidisciplinary team and good clinical decision making. You will also need to demonstrate:
- Leadership skills and take charge of shift
- Responsible for the professional development of self and others working within the frameworks of trust policy and NMC guidelines.
- To work autonomously and provide a high level of expertise in clinical and managerial leadership of the ward team.
