Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Band 6 nurse has to join the dynamic team on Birch Ward at Whipps Cross University Hospital.

As part of our commitment to patients we are increasing our senior nursing work force to meet the needs of our patients and further support our team with their professional development.

We are a busy department providing excellent patient-centered nursing care and working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team. The post holder will work with the ward manager and direct, supervise and monitor the provision of nursing care in accordance with individual care plans, maintaining high standards of patient care.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to help take the department forward and pride ourselves that the patients are at the heart of everything we do. You will possess excellent communication skills and be clinically competent across a wide range of emergency skills. A strong interest in developing new staff and a proactive approach to delivery of high standards of evidence based care are essential components to this post.

As a member of the team you would work closely with the clinicians and multidisciplinary team of staff and you will be supported in your professional development so if you have the skills and abilities to fulfil this post we would like to hear from you.
