Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and highly motivated registered nurse with a varied clinical experience to join the Childrens Ambulatory Care and Outpatients Unit. (CACOU), The candidate will be based at Frimley Park, there may be occasions where they will be required to work on one of our other sites.

The Outpatient team support multiple paediatric speciality clinics such as Oncology, Rheumatology, Allergy, Respiratory, Neonatal and Diabetic clinics.

You will act as an advocate for the patients, nursing and medical colleagues and actively participate in further developments and expansion of the outpatient's service to help deliver the FHFT Future Strategy.

The post will also involve providing mentoring and supporting junior and new staff and all types of learners working in the department.

The CACOU team are passionate about constantly improving our service and delivering high quality care to our patients.

We are looking for committed individuals with excellent organisational and leadership skills. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to lead and support the team and to undertake a wide range of administrative duties in tandem with clinical duties.

The successful candidate will demonstrate criteria set out in the Job Description and Person Specification. Experience working in an outpatient clinic setting would be an advantage but not essential.
