Sister / Charge Nurse - ED

We are looking to recruit for a Charge Nurse/Sister to work in our ED. The CN/SR role you will work across the ED to support the Senior Clinical & Nursing team. In order to deliver this support, you will need to have a firm understanding of local and national initiatives which will help the ED meet the New Emergency Care standards. This will allow us to continue our commitment to our community of the delivery of compassionate, safe, and effective care. As a Charge Nurse/Sister you will also be working in the Resuscitation area and will be responsible for initial patient assessment, advanced life support; patient monitoring and individual's ongoing care

Successful applicants will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a B5 staff nurse within Emergency Nursing, or equivalent emergency pre- hospital care, you should possess a wide range of appropriate clinical skills and have a keen interest in developing your career in Emergency Care.

We provide emergency and non-emergency services to the residents of East Surrey, North-East West Sussex, and South Croydon, including the major towns of Crawley, Horsham, Reigate and Redhill; a community of over 535,000 people. We provide acute and complex services and a range of outpatient, diagnostic services whilst Crawley Hospital and Horsham in West Sussex and Caterham Dene Hospital and Oxted Health Centre in Surrey provide less complex planned services.
