Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Manager to demonstrate leadership and clinical oversight within the Emergency Department., We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide a high quality service and clinical evidence based care to our patient population whilst ensuring a positive learning environment for all staff.

The successful candidate will need to have a clear vision for best practice and evidence of complex decision-making skills.

The unit is undergoing a clinical model and workforce modernisation review and this is an exciting time to come and join our innovative team.

The successful post holder will need to be a driven, dynamic and passionate individual who can work under pressure, delivering high standards of quality care as well as working collaboratively with colleagues within the multi-disciplinary team.

Being Manchester Triage System (MTS) trained is an essential component and the ability to make clinical decisions inclusive of a wide variety of complex elements as prescribed by the role job description and person specification.

Comprehensive communication skills are required to undertake complaints, ascertain and articulate risk of overall department demand and maintain high levels of professional standards, leading by example and role modelling.,

  • A caring attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Have the ability to develop relationships across professional and organisational boundaries.
