Full Job Description

You will form part of the senior nursing team, working in partnership with both the Senior and Lead nurses. Contributing to further developing quality and patient experience agendas and playing a fundamental part in driving forward the Trust values.
You will have specific responsibility for leading and developing a team within the Endoscopy Unit. Providing leadership on quality including; patient experience, patient safety, clinical governance and regulatory compliance.

Please note an NMC PRN Pin is not a full NMC Pin and would not fulfil the essential criteria for this role.
The NCA can no longer accept applications from International Nurses and Midwives who are yet to complete all competencies needed to receive a full NMC PIN to practice in the UK as we have paused our OSCE programme indefinitely. Due to the expansion of Endoscopy services and the opening of a brand new Endoscopy site at the Oldham Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), we are looking for a motivated and experienced nurse who can bring enthusiasm and energy to the Sister/Charge Nurse role. You will form part of the senior nursing team.
You will have specific responsibility for leading and developing a team within the Endoscopy Unit. Providing leadership on quality including; patient experience, patient safety, clinical governance and regulatory compliance. Fundamental to this, is the development of a culture where excellent quality patient care is at the heart of all that we do. If you think you have the drive, commitment and enthusiasm to successfully implement change and are ready to rise to the exciting challenge we want to hear from you.
You will be expected to be a team player reliable able to relate to other members of the MDT and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. In return you will work in a well-established nursing and managerial team and be provided with excellent personal and professional development opportunities.
You will hold registration with the NMC and have substantial experience at Band 5 grade within speciality.
