Site Manager

Boarshaw Primary School is a thriving primary school in North Middleton, which places a high importance on utilising and developing the use of its building and grounds for learning. We need a Site Manager who can ensure our buildings and grounds are maintained to the highest standards and can assist us in planning and supervising improvements.

The successful candidate will be able to show initiative, take a pride in their work and the condition of the buildings and grounds. They must be reliable, flexible and able to interact positively with children, their families, staff and visitors. Duties will include caretaking, cleaning responsibilities and supervising a small team of cleaners. The ability to plan and undertake minor repairs and general maintenance which may include painting and basic DIY to a high standard is essential.

This position is full time all year round, 37 hours per week. The working day is 6.30am until 2.30pm including a 30 minute lunch break Monday to Thursday and 6.30am until 2pm on Friday. Annual leave can be split between term time and during school holidays, at the Manager's discretion.

The successful candidate must possess GCSE English and Maths or Level 2 Numeracy and Literacy and a relevant Level 2 qualification in Cleaning or similar.
