Full Job Description

  • Site Operations Support: Assist the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations on the construction site, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and according to schedule.

  • Health and Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce health and safety protocols, conducting regular inspections and ensuring all workers adhere to safety regulations.

  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with various contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure seamless coordination of activities and effective communication across the team.

  • Quality Control: Assist in maintaining high-quality construction standards by conducting inspections and addressing any issues promptly.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Support in maintaining accurate project documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and other necessary paperwork.

  • Problem-solving: Work with the Site Manager to identify and resolve challenges that may arise during the construction process.

  • Client Interaction: Engage with clients and stakeholders as needed, providing updates and addressing concerns professionally.

  • Schedule Management: Contribute to the management of project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and addressing any delays.

  • Cost Monitoring: Assist in monitoring project costs and resources to ensure effective budget management.

  • Supervision in the Site Managers Absence: Step into a leadership role in the absence of the Site Manager, guiding the team and making decisions to keep the project on track.

    Proven experience in a construction-related role, preferably as a Site Supervisor or Assistant Site Manager.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and construction best practices.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

  • Relevant construction qualifications or certifications.

  • Valid driving license.
