Full Job Description

We now seek a Site Manager to join our High-Quality Residential Division on a permanent, full-time basis., As a Site Manager, you will ensure the safe, effective and timely delivery of all site operational aspects of the project.

You'll be responsible for the day-to-day short-term planning of projects, ensuring key elements are delivered safely, in line with specifications and on time, and that project delivery is consistent with our strategy, goals and quality standards.

Leading by example, you'll oversee positive and effective communication between our site delivery, design and supply chain teams and ensure compliance with Business Processes as defined within the BMS, as well as health and safety standards.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers and any other key personnel
- Oversee defect management and inspection regimes
- Assist with the production of the Site Environmental Plan
- Contribute to the review of construction detailing
- Ensure that the Design and Procurement Schedule is reviewed and verified
- Produce progress reports

- Embrace technology and modern methods of construction and strive for efficiencies
- Problem solver with the ability to break issues down and derive results
- Good knowledge of programme management and control
- Recognise driving critical activities and actively deliver mitigation measures
- Recognise the importance of change management and the associated risks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, inspiring and motivating others in the project
- Ability to understand the landscape of Walter Lilly clients and consultants, the different roles, their competition and peers
- Ability to understand what information is needed to report internally on developing relationships and project opportunities
- Obtain the necessary health and safety qualifications required for the role (CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid are mandatory)

Salary commensurate with experience
