Site Manager 33,400Overall Purpose of the RoleAs the Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all contracted food services within the unit. Your duties will encompass staffing, planning, cleaning, and coordinating food preparation to drive sales through innovative menu plans and promotions.Key Accountabilities
- Foster a safety culture throughout the unit, ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety policies and procedures, including food handling and fire protocols.
- Maintain meticulous records of Food Safety and Health & Safety documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Uphold kitchen cleanliness standards, promptly reporting hazards, incidents, and equipment faults.
- Ensure efficient food service provision, maintaining quality standards and adhering to specified timelines to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Exemplify the ESS Way values and Compass DNA behaviors while managing labor costs effectively and conducting regular team meetings. Main Responsibilities
- Drive retail sales through creative marketing initiatives and uphold compliance with Profit Protection audits.
- Manage financial paperwork accurately, forecast expenditures, and supply regional finance returns in a timely manner.
- Oversee team recruitment, training, and development, ensuring a robust succession plan is in place.
- Supervise food production planning, minimizing waste and adhering to Food Production Process guidelines.
- Act as the primary contact for the Hub region and represent the company in various meetings and forums.
Excellent communication skills to engage customers, clients, and team members effectively. - Demonstrated experience in supervising or managing teams and achieving financial targets.
- Passion for food and service excellence, coupled with IT literacy and relevant qualifications.
- Integrity, commitment to Health & Safety, initiative, and strong teamwork ethos. Desirable
- Leadership qualifications and a valid UK Driving license.
- Previous retail experience and familiarity with managing multiple catering outlets.
