Are you looking for a new challenge that combines leadership with clinical work? We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Practitioner join our Unplanned Care Division in the Site Management Team. Do you have the ability to prioritize your workload, drive transformation and promote a can-do attitude? If so, this is the role for you.

We are looking for an enthusiastic nurse to join the site management team who will work alongside the Advanced site practitioners. Site Practitioners work with the medical and nursing teams to provide senior nursing support to the ward areas, ensuring the safety of the hospital. This includes the provision of general management support to the hospital departments and the provision of advanced clinical nursing skills to the medical, surgical, and orthopaedic wards.

This is a busy, demanding, and challenging role. In return this post offers significant development opportunities, including both professional and leadership development., As a Site Practitioner you will be supporting the Advanced Site Practitioners in the safe and timely admission, transfer and discharge of patients, and a point of escalation out of hours for a wide variety of incidents and emergencies.As the post holder you will ensure the provision of high quality patient care throughout the trust, ensuring professional standards and trust objectives are adhered to.Out of hours you will also work alongside the medical and nursing teams ensuring safe practice and providing the wards with senior and clinical support.You will be responsible for carrying out addition advanced Clinical skills.A solid professional background, good decision-making skills and excellent communication skills will combine to enable you to master the day-to-day management of this busy role.
