Full Job Description
A full time, permanent opportunity has arisen at our Barnsley site for a Facilities Engineer (Building Maintenance) to join the team. You will be responsible to be a fully engaged team member, with flexibility to efficiently fault find, report, maintain and improve a variety of facilities and building maintenance across site. The successful candidate will:
- Ensure all work conforms to statutory & safety requirements
- Closing out of both internal and external audit actions.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Responsible for stopping work activities which constitute a significant risk to the safety of a person, the environment, plant or product safety/quality

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or vocational training is a plus. - Proven Experience in Building Maintenance
- Knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing or electrical is desirable.
- Able to take own initiative and is solutions focused.
- Can do attitude and willingness to learn
