Full Job Description

Eccleston Mere Primary School is a two-form entry community school, providing education to children aged 2-11. The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a dedicated, talented Site Supervisor to be responsible for the maintenance of our school.

  • Have good communication skills
  • Understand and commit to working within Health & Safety legislation
  • Be willing to undertake any training required
  • Be flexible in their approach to work
  • Have experience of general maintenance and DIY
  • Be a team player with the ability to work individually using their own initiative
  • Be able to follow instructions and direction
  • Be able to undertake duties to ensure the cleanliness, maintenance and tidiness of the building and outdoor area
  • Open and close the building and ensure the safety of the area for staff and pupils
  • Have some general gardening duties to be undertaken on a regular basis
  • Be able to operate machinery, including tools
    • The post will require the ability to undertake physical tasks, manual handling, work at heights and lone working. We can offer:
