Full Job Description

We are seeking a Skilled CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine to produce high-quality one off and batch components. The CNC Operator will work with precision equipment in a production environment, ensuring all products meet our quality standards.

A manual background in either Milling, Turning and Grinding would suit our set up. Set up and operate CNC machines with the ability to tackle intricate low volume parts (lots of one offs).

Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role

· Proficiency in understanding the part required

· Knowledge of tooling, hand tools, and materials handling

· Math skills for measurements and calculations

· Ability to be adaptive

This position would suit a semi-retired person on either a full or part-time contract with hours to suit.

Operating hours are from 8am - 4.30PM Monday to Thursday and 8am to 12.30pm on Fridays.
