Skilled Operative

Hours - 39 hours per week. Sunday - Thursday 2:30pm - 10.30pm. Buckfastleigh, Devon TQ11 0JU. - Reliable transportation is required to commute to Wash Farm, as it is not accessible by public transport routes.

What you'll be doing

As our Skilled Operative, you will support the Team Manager in delivering the days requirement for your department. Working as part of the team you will help to ensure that we are producing a high quality, accurate and well-presented product whichever team you are working in. You will be key in keeping the team motivated to achieve your targets for the day, communicating positively when you need them to pick up the pace and working with all the departments around production to solve problems or keep them up to date with any issues.

Skilled Op's step up to the mark in the absence of the Team Manager so you'll need strong communication skills, working collaboratively to keep the department running smoothly, helping with the day to day management of the team as well as stepping up and taking on more responsibility when the team leader is absent. In your capacity as Skilled Op you may also be required to support other departments within Production/Dispatch as required.
