Skilled Worker

We have an opportunity for a Skilled Worker to join our Planned Works team in London. You will be working alongside a team of Multi-Trade Operatives, assisting with the completion of works in Void & Tenanted properties. You will also manage site clearance and sustain material movements allowing the Multi-Trade Operative to concentrate on service delivery. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and eventually aiming to develop into a trade role once experienced. Full training will be provided along with a company van and power tools.

The role of Skilled Worker will include:

• Maintaining site cleanliness, loading skips, transporting waste to disposal facility


• Assisting Multi-Trade Operatives with tasks including construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties


• Resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution


• Ensuring customers are kept informed, providing accurate and timely information


• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and stocks are replenished as and when required, Sanctuary Group encourages and welcomes applications from people from diverse backgrounds to support our commitment to offering an inclusive environment for our employees and customers.

• To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to NVQ Level 2 in core subject. NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing if plumbing is core or currently undertaking the qualification. If you have a lower level qualification along with practical experience and would be prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group, we would still welcome an application



• Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation


• Recent experience of undertaking a similar role


• Good understanding of written and spoken English


• Ability to use computerised systems for training purposes


• This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

• Role salary is £26,122 with an additional policy allowance of £741 per annum (rising to £27,497 with an additional policy allowance of £780 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
