Full Job Description
As a Skills Coach in Brickwork, you'll be more than just a coach - you'll be a mentor, guide, and role model to our apprentices. Whether on-site, in college, or working remotely, you'll be the driving force behind their success. You will:
- Inspire and mentor learners to develop the skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed to thrive in the brickwork industry.
- Tailor coaching to help learners not only pass but aim for distinction - you'll play a key role in shaping tomorrow's leaders in construction.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Coaching, mentoring, and assessing learners on apprenticeship programmes across various sites - from the classroom to the real-world workplace.
- Using our cutting-edge e-portfolio system to track and monitor apprentice progress, ensuring they're ready to pass their End Point Assessment and hit the ground running in their careers.
- Embedding maths and English into practical learning, ensuring apprentices leave with all the tools they need to succeed.
- Maintaining strong relationships with employers to ensure apprenticeships run smoothly, with all parties aligned to deliver top-quality training.
- Collaborating with your team to shape, promote, and deliver high-quality programmes that set learners up for success in their field.
A relevant Level 3 qualification or above in brickwork or a similar occupational area. - Assessor qualifications or a willingness to work towards one (we'll help you get there!).
- Experience in the brickwork industry, with a passion for sharing your knowledge with the next generation.
- Strong IT skills and an ability to manage online learning systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to travel as needed to support learners and employers.
