Full Job Description

You will be responsible for project managing the SDN Professional Development strategy ensuring that we source the right events to meet the needs of our colleagues. This will include face to face events, virtual webinars, one and two day conferences including workshops. You will help to develop and create a culture of professional skills development across the patch, encouraging and supporting organisations in development initiatives, and communicating best practice and new ideas across the patch. You will manage the NENC SDN professional development action plans and work with our two SDN Programme Leads to support their implementation. You will establish, maintain and develop a regional network of Skills Development organisational leads. You will establish and administer a range of special interest groups for our colleagues to share ideas and their experience. You will manage the budget for specific projects and events. You will develop a sponsorship policy for the funding of
conferences and other development activities, and actively generate funding from sponsors. You will generate income through delivery of training and development events to a wider audience on a commercial basis. You will be line manager to our events co-ordinator and our business administration apprentice You will ensure that an administration service is provided to our local regional HFMA branch
