Full Job Description

They will practice the 4 pillars of Advanced Practice:o Advanced Clinical Practiceo Facilitation of Education and Learningo Leadershipo Evidence, Research and DevelopmentThey will:-Practice autonomously with a high level of accountability at anadvanced clinical level in the direct delivery of high quality care,making critical clinical decisions based on advanced clinicalskills assessment, diagnosis and treatment within an agreedscope of practice.They will order investigations and prescribe medications withinthe capacity of non-medical prescribing.Plan and manage complete episodes of care, working inpartnership with others and delegating and referring asappropriate to optimise health outcomes and resource use, aswell as providing direct support to patients and clientsAdvocate and contribute to the development of an organisationalculture that supports continuous learning and development,evidence-based practice and succession planning.To provide clear leadership and direction to support both
themedical and nursing teams acting as a role model for the Trust,presenting a positive image to patients and staff.As a clinical leader they have the freedom and authority to actand accept the responsibility and accountability for thoseactions.Critically engage in research activity, adhering to good researchpractice guidance, so that evidence based strategies aredeveloped and applied to enhance quality, safety, productivityand value for money

The successful applicant must be motivated and enthusiastic about the specialist care needs of this patient group. They should be able to demonstrate advanced communication skills, organisational and multi-tasking skills and have the ability to prioritise effectively and efficiently in a busy and fast paced working environment. The successful applicant must demonstrate an ability to support, teach, develop and educate others and possess good leadership skills. They should be able to work autonomously and as part of a strong multidisciplinary team in order to maintain and deliver a high quality of care
