Full Job Description

Reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, the Sky Watching Writer will be responsible for planning and writing feature and educational content throughout the astronomical calendar, ensuring all articles are search engine optimised and engaging to our readers. You'll also identify trending news and lead breaking sky watching coverage across the site and our social channels.

  • Create engaging content

  • Ensure the sky watching channel is fresh and engaging

  • General editorial tasks, working with the content team

    An in-depth knowledge of the night sky

  • Experience in a content role on an editorial website

  • Someone looking to enhance the way we approach content

  • Sub-editing/proofreading skills
