Slip Prep Operative

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Slip Prep Operative within our growing Materials Team.

In a nutshell you will be responsible for:

The purpose of your job is to ensure that all materials that are needed to produce sinks or glaze are in specification to high standards, you have the first hand in the material that's required to help start and finish our luxury sinks.

What you are already great at:

• Preparation of both casting slip, glaze and engobe according to specifications.


• Testing of materials and interpreting test results against specifications.


• Reporting any issues if a material is out of specification.


• Developing an understanding of the materials that you work with, and the impact of chemicals and chemical reactions.


• Communication between slip house and glaze shop.
