Quality Improvement (QI) Data Analyst

We are looking for someone who is keen to progress their career working with others to continuously improve the care that we provide to people who use our services.

If you want to progress your career focusing on using measurement for improvement, understanding variation and have a passion for data and visualisation and engaging staff in using data for improvement this job is for you.

We are interested in candidates who have skill and experience in using measurement for improvement, developing interactive dashboards (e.

g. Power BI, Excel, DAX) and in coaching and engaging staff to make best use of their data.

You will be a strong and engaging advocate for using data for learning and improvement.

Candidates who are successful at the shortlisting stage will be invited to attend an interview on Thursday 26 September 2024 - you will need to be available for the whole day.

  • The Quality Centre is a collaboration between South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience at Kings College London and Kings Health Partners.

    The role will be based within the Improvement Service which sits within the Quality Centre. The Improvement Service combines a matrix of quality improvement, improvement analytics and organisational behaviour change and coaching expertise that aims to bring out the best in people to build robust and resilient ways of working with a focus on continuous improvement.

    Detailed job description and main responsibilities

    The postholder will work as part of the Improvement Analytics team within the Improvement Service and
  • Provide a technical data support service for the Improvement Service

  • Assist in the delivery of QI initiatives

  • Participate in the examination of data sets (data analytics)

  • Support the development and implementation of measurement plans for specified QI initiatives

  • Provide training and support for staff to effectively understand and use data

    Trained in measurement or data for improvement
