Full Job Description

Be responsible for day to day running of the sludge press and thickeners including covering bank holidays and weekends as part of a 2-person rota.
Liaise with planning/ allocators & MEI department to raise any reactive defects.
Report near-misses via company near miss hotline.
Control chemical and stock levels within the sludge press area.
Operate in line with company health & safety procedures.
Ensure all areas of the Treatment Works are cleaned thoroughly each day.
Report any defects or damage to management immediately.
Support Gwent operations in anyway deemed necessary.
Pick up urgent parts from various venders.
Move/deliver equipment around the Gwent area as required.
Oversee pumping operations where required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Cleaning experience
Practical Health & Safety experience in a visitor attraction or similar environment
Experience in operating machinery
Ability to work on own initiative
Driving licence is essential for this role
