Full Job Description

This is a full-time position, working four days a week with a half-day Saturday on a 1:4 rota. Importantly, there is no out-of-hours work, ensuring you have plenty of time to enjoy life outside of work.

As a Clinical Director, you'll need to be passionate about delivering excellent patient care, with strong communication and organisational skills. While leadership experience is ideal, we welcome candidates with an interest in developing their business acumen and stepping into a leadership role. Your role will involve working alongside our talented team to guide the direction of the practice and help it continue to thrive.

Are you searching for the perfect balance between leading a dynamic team and enjoying an incredible lifestyle in one of the UK's happiest and most scenic places? With one of our Clinical Directors relocating, we're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join us in leading our Small Animal team, driving growth and shaping the future of our practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a leadership role while enjoying a fulfilling work-life balance. About Us: We are a well-established, multi-site mixed practice with a team of 15 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, skilled RVNs, and a dedicated team of support staff. You'll be working closely with our Practice Manager as well as the Clinical Directors of our Large Animal team. Our main site is purpose-built, with exciting plans to further expand our facilities and services. We are committed to providing top-quality care for our clients and their pets, and we actively encourage and support further education and professional development.

What We Offer: We believe in supporting and rewarding our team. Our benefits include:

  • A competitive salary based on your experience
  • 6.6 weeks paid holiday, including bank holidays
  • Relocation support
  • £1750 CPD allowance per annum
  • RCVS membership and two other subscriptions paid
  • VDS cover
  • Health Shield - contributions towards health and wellbeing treatments
  • Enhanced parental leave pay (maternity, paternity, adoption, and shared parental leave)
  • My Perks - discounts on shopping, travel, entertainment, and more
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • CPD, including leadership training and support
  • Company sick pay and annual pay reviews
  • Career progression opportunities
  • Focus on employee wellbeing
  • If you're ready to take the next step in your veterinary career and lead a supportive and passionate team while enjoying the natural beauty of Anglesey, we'd love to hear from you!
