Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon- Clinical Freedom in a Supportive Environment

We are excited to recruit a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. Whether you're an experienced vet or early in your career, we welcome your application. With over 70 years of combined experience, our team offers a collaborative approach and clear development pathways to help you thrive in your new role. Working Hours: This full-time role includes standard working hours from 8:15 am to 6:00 pm. We ensure ample time within these hours for paperwork, case development, and client communication. With this in mind, your lunch break is 1 hour and this is a protected break, with no interruptions! Weekend Duties: You will work on a rota basis with Saturday consults from 8:15 am to 11:00 am and 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. There may be some inpatient care required on Sundays, with a nurse available if needed and Tuesdays off will follow a weekend shift. Out of Hours: Out of hours are managed by VetsNow, but you'll cover your own inpatient care with weeknight phone advice provided as necessary for the nurse staying over. Although, this is as and when needed and only if there are inpatients at practice.

You will be joining a close-knit team who are very supportive of each other. We're very much looking for someone who wants to enjoy working as part of a close team and take the job, but not yourself seriously. We all work in collaboration to achieve the best outcomes possible. The team is currently made up of 2 Vets, an experienced and supportive RVN and SVNS, as well as 4 wonderful receptionists and our Practice Manager..
