Full Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals who have the ability and passion to work within our friendly team across Cwm Taf Morgannwg. Help Me Quit is expanding its service and we require Smoking Cessation Advisors who have the ambition to help drive these changes and help expand the service we offer. Commitment to undertake ongoing training and development is essential. We offer both community and hospital based training and customised Help Me Quit study days developed by our team and specialist central Public Health cessation team.Main duties of the job You should be motivated, passionate, committed, keen to learn and ready to embrace change. Our commitment to you is to provide the environment for this to happen and ensure that you are part of our defined preceptorship programme. The post holder will provide specialist behavioural support and advice to smokers who want to quit. They will be expected to deliver support through community settings, one to one and telephone interventions. If you are motivated to deliver high standards of service delivery and have these personal qualities and characteristics then this could be the post for you.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
