Social Care - Personal Assistant

I have learning difficulties and find some everyday things that other teenagers may take for granted a challenge so I'm looking for someone who can help me with a variety of tasks and help me to build up my confidence.
In particular, I would really like someone who can:

• Help me to make new connections in the local area, encourage me to meet new people and perhaps find new activities that I could try.


• Teach me how to cook simple things - maybe even bake a cake for mum!


• Above all though, I am looking for someone who I can have fun with and who I can learn from.


The kind of person I am looking for:
Friendly and approachable. Responsible, reliable and trustworthy. Good communication and social skills. To respect confidentiality and be sensitive to my needs. To understand that dignity and independence are important. Be willing to learn and able to work on your own initiative.
