Full Job Description

Reporting into the Social Lead, the Social Commerce Manager will be responsible for driving brand growth through social commerce strategies that enhance customer engagement and boost revenue across THG Society; this includes group, Ingenuity and our growing portfolio of external clients. The Social Commerce Manager will be a dynamic, strategic and hardworking individual who's passionate about social media marketing, commerce and the opportunities these worlds bring. They will be an excellent communicator with the ability to build solid relationships both internally and externally, as well as having strong organisational skills. As Social Commerce Manager, you'll have responsibility for:

  • Support internal brands in implementing social commerce strategies, this includes getting shops live, integrating the technology needed, monitoring performance and reporting on findings with the support of the Social Lead.
  • Optimising reporting regularly for social commerce to determine strategies and acting accordingly to drive results.
  • Platform management, overseeing and optimising social media accounts (e.g: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) to ensure brand consistency and maximise sales opportunities.
  • Lead the education across the group on TikTok and Meta best practices, shop fulfilment and optimisation for performance.
  • Collaborate with the content team and group brands to develop engaging and persuasive content tailored for various social media platforms.
  • Working with the studios on internal offering to support livestreaming, freelance hosts etc.
  • Liaise between our external clients and the Society Influencer team to bring influencer support into any wider campaigns, for increased brand exposure and sales.
  • Conduct market research, stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging social commerce technologies to bring new opportunities to the team, brands and clients.
  • Using tools such as TikTok Shop and Creator Studio, Google Analytics, Society and Tableau.
  • Support in training new team members.

    Ideally 2+ years in social media marketing, ideally TikTok or in an ecommerce trading role.
  • Outstanding communication, strategic and organisational skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to adapt to challenging market dynamics and customer preference.
  • A proactive self-starter with a problem-solving attitude and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • An understanding of how social commerce can play a key role in building brand awareness, affinity, content creation and driving commercial value for brands.
  • Knowledge of both current and emerging global platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok etc.
